Percy Jackson book month is winding to a close with book four out of five. If you’ve seen the new movie post a comment at the bottom and let me know what you thought! (No spoilers please.)
In The Battle of the Labyrinth Percy Jackson thinks his freshman year of high school will go by smoothly. He’s already saved Camp Half Blood and all his friends three times, how much worse could it get? Well Percy goes to orientation at school and meets some not-so-peppy demon cheerleaders. Percy returns to Camp Half Blood after that school spirit incident to find out about the Labyrinth.
The Labyrinth is an underground part of King Minos’s palace that is like a maze and was designed by Daedalus. Luke and his crew are now trying to use the Labyrinth to get into Camp Half Blood. Percy and his friends must enter the Labyrinth and find Daedalus to stop Luke.
This installment of the Percy Jackson series is full of adventure just like all the rest of Riordan’s books. Every twist and turn of the underground maze brings creatures from old myths, more crazy journeys for Percy and his friends, and maybe even a little more into Percy and Annabeth’s relationship. 😉
